Upcoming Fun!

Hey, it's been a while since I've had time to post! Fall is in full swing, and many great things are on the horizon at my practice! I did want to take a moment and acknowledge that it's getting darker, and gloomier outside...one way that I suggest people manage this is with a "Day Light".

Originally created to help birds in captivity breed more effectively, the "day light" can trick your circadian rhythm into thinking it's still summer. Awww, sweet sweet sunshine! I suggest using the light first thing in the morning, before 9AM. I use mine on my desk while I'm checking morning emails. Oh, and my dog loves it too.

Now, onto the fabulous happenings at the practice:

  • I'm looking to start a Women's Stress Reduction & Wellness group in January! Space in the group is limited-we'll be meeting for six weeks, for an hour and a half every week! This group is a great chance to get to know other women, learn how to manage your stress, and connect on a whole new level. Megan Mountcastle, HHC, of 'Sante Health Counseling' will be co-leading this group, adding her sense of health, wellness, and intuitive nutrition. If you'd like more info on joining, please contact me right away!
  • Megan and I will also be teaching a class on stress reduction for women at the Brookline Adult Education Center! Look for us in the winter catalog!
  • MiniLuxe is my most favorite self-care lately....and Megan and I will be speaking at the Newton location on January 21st! Look for more details about this even coming soon!
  • Are you a recessionista dying for therapy, but can't part with the cash right now? Fret no longer! Starting in January 2010, Jessica will now be able to accept several health insurances!!! That's right-the great therapy you love, paid for by your insurance. Want to know more? Email me for details!

Ok, that's about all that's keeping me busy for now! Rember, the best way to combat all this Halloween candy is by listening deep inside for what you're really craving....and let yourself have it-be it a Resse's Peanut Butter Cup, or an Arugala Salad with fresh lemon and dash of pepper!
