SNOW DAY!!! Aren't those two of the best words in the English language? And while we're merely getting a few inches, I am having a self-imposed snow day.

Today, it's all about pajamas, bad television (mostly reality TV), and puppy snuggles.

Snow days are like the free space in Bingo. A time to truly be off....to not answer the phone, to not go anywhere or be obligated to anything. I think we should all take a snow day once in a while. It's good for the soul.

We're making pot roast in the slow cooker, oatmeal craisen cookies with white chocolate chips, and maybe even a little eggplant parm for tomorrow. And, maybe we'll even shovel.

It's this kind of hibernation that makes winter worth it. So allow yourself an occasional snow day, to relax, unwind, and have permission to chill.
